[root@ibmiis9 ~]# cd /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/PXEngine/
[root@ibmiis9 PXEngine]# export APT_ORCHHOME=`pwd`
[root@ibmiis9 PXEngine]# cd java/
[root@ibmiis9 java]# ./jobmoninit stop
JobMonApp has been shut down.
[root@ibmiis9 java]# ./jobmoninit start
JobMonApp has been started.
[root@ibmiis9 java]#

How to stop and start Datastage JobMonApp on Windows Operating Systems
Answer
JobMonApp is started with command jobmoninit script located in directory:

...\IBM\InformationServer\Server\PXEngine\java 

Follow the steps to stop and start JobMonApp in case of troubleshooting:

Go to C:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\PXEngine in the command prompt

Click sh to move to the shell

Type export APT_ORCHHOME=`pwd`

Type "cd java" to go to directory C:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\PXEngine\java

Type ./jobmoninit stop to stop JobMonApp

JobMonApp has been shutdown

Type ./jobmoninit start to start JobMonApp up
